Memorandum of Understanding
between
SEMNAN UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES(Semnan-Iran)
and
GEORGIAN INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES(Tbilisi-Georgia)
Semnan University of Medical Sciences, hereafter referred to as SEMUMS being a legal entity and acting according to the legislation of Iran, is legally represented under the charter by the Rector Prof.Dr. Kamran Ghods(hereafter – First Party).

Georgian International Academy of Sciences(ID:427727043), hereafter referred to as GIAS, being a legal entity and acting according to the legislation of Georgia, is legally represented under the charter by the President Dr. Farzad Ghasemzadeh (hereafter – Second Party).
Both of parties hereinafter separately referred to as the “Party”, collectively – the “Parties”, have decided to enter into the present memorandum of understanding (hereinafter referred to as the “MOU”) and agree with conditions as follows.
The Parties believe that the quality of research and teaching is enhanced with the establishment of international cooperation, and wish to enter into collaboration with a goal of mutual enrichment in scientific, academic and cultural areas.
Within fields that are mutually acceptable, the Parties undertake to explore the opportunities for collaboration, which may include the following general forms of cooperation:
- Establishment and run of the international campus of Semnan University of Medical Sciences in Georgia-Tbilisi.
- Recruiting Bachelor, Master and PhD applicants to study at the international campus of Semnan University of Medical Sciences in Georgia-Tbilisi.
- Holding joint higher education courses in the form of Dual, Joint and Collaborative Degree Programs in cooperation with foreign universities.
- Developing international relations of the first party through:
